I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University. My broad research and teaching interests are on environmental and natural resource economics, applied microeconomics, and development economics. My primary area of focus is on the measurement of the economic value of environmental goods and services through non-market valuation methods (stated and revealed preference demand estimation). Over the past few years, I have also found myself becoming very interested on issues related to water policy and ecosystem services, environmental governance, resiliency, climate change mitigation and adaptations, global water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programs; and the interaction between human and natural systems. |
