I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of the Pacific. My broad research and teaching interests are on environmental and natural resource economics, applied microeconomics, and econometrics. My primary area of focus is on the measurement of the economic value of environmental goods and services through non-market valuation methods (stated and revealed preference demand estimation). Over the past few years, I have also found myself becoming interested in understanding the interaction between human and natural systems, in particular, on issues related to water policy and ecosystem services, environmental governance, resiliency, climate change mitigation and adaptations, and global water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programs. |
